YAS Studio (Youth Acting & Screen Studio) is a bold, inclusive creative hub empowering young people to dream bigger, create bolder, and shine brighter. Purpose-built for the next generation of storytellers, performers, and visual artists from Grades 3 through 12, YAS Studio offers a one-of-a-kind environment where students can train across screen and performance disciplines; including acting, animation, filmmaking, and photography, all under one roof.
Every class at YAS is led by experienced industry professionals who bring current, real-world insights from the film, television, theatre, and media landscapes. Alongside our weekly term classes, students can dive deeper through holiday intensives and masterclasses with guest artists who are shaping the creative industries right now. Whether students are drawn to the stage, screen, behind the camera, or into the world of visual storytelling, they’re given the tools, space, and encouragement to discover and refine their artistic voice.
YAS Studio stands apart in its belief that creativity is not a linear path, it’s a multidimensional journey. Our flexible model allows young creatives to focus deeply in one discipline or explore across multiple art forms, developing both their craft and their confidence. But we’re not just building skills, we’re nurturing life-long capabilities. Communication, collaboration, critical thinking and resilience, these are the transferable life skills our students carry into every area of their future lives, creative or otherwise.
