ACTING: Confidence on Screen
Age group: Juniors (Grades 3-6)
Class Size: 10 max
In this exciting two-day acting workshop, young performers will step in front of the camera and discover what it takes to deliver a natural, truthful performance on screen. Guided by professional actor Danielle Pears, students will explore the fundamentals of screen acting in a fun, playful, supportive environment designed to build confidence and creativity.
Across the two days, students will work with short scripts, learn how to adjust their performance for the camera, and develop essential skills like listening, collaboration and emotional connection in a scene. Through practical exercises, improvisations, character building exercised and on-camera work, they’ll gain insight into how film and TV actors bring characters to life.
Whether they’re curious about acting for the first time or already love performing, this workshop is a fantastic opportunity for young creatives to grow their confidence, develop new skills and experience the magic of acting on screen.
