INTRO TO PHOTOGRAPHY

Introduction to Photography

Age group: Juniors (Grades 3-6)
Class Size: 10 max

What if you could see the world a little differently?

In this one-day workshop led by Casey Longfield, young creatives are introduced to photography through hands-on exploration, creative challenges and real-time experimentation. Over four hours, students will begin to understand how light, composition and perspective can completely transform the way they capture the world around them.

This is about more than just taking photos — it’s about noticing, framing and telling a story through a single image. Students will explore different ways of seeing, try new techniques, and walk away with a series of their own photographs and a fresh creative perspective.

No experience needed. Just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to explore what’s possible.
